The Californian company has a habit of always celebrating big events. This Wednesday, March 9, 2022, Tesla launched the invitations for a delivery ceremony of the first German-made Tesla Model Y in the new Berlin factory.
Indeed Tesla has been working hard to build this factory for many months, and the American company managed to get the operating permit last week. The authorization was a tedious procedure, complicated by the German administration as can be seen in the picture below which shows the documents that were necessary for this.
In this sense Tesla can officially produce and deliver the customers who have been able to reserve this car for almost two years now
The first Tesla Model Y manufactured in Germany will be Performance models only, with 2170 batteries and mainly in black and white at the beginning
The future first owners will have the chance to take in hand their Tesla Model Y directly on the factory site, on March 22, 2022 at 3pm. For this Tesla has informed via an email the possibility to register for the delivery day ceremony on the factory site.
