It seems that Tesla is making progress on his RoadMap, until he can start announcing dates. On the other hand, the choice to prioritise the high autonomy and very strategic model is certainly linked to the statistics they have been able to retrieve thanks to bookings <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manufacturing first the Model Y LongRange (high autonomy) will surely allow them to fill the most demand and then develop the Model Y Performance and perhaps a Standard-Range propulsion or dual motor <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This strategy is the same as the one used in China when the Shanghai factory was opened, where the objective was to manufacture the most requested model locally in order to meet local demand as much as possible while limiting imports as much as possible <\/p>\n\n\n\n
