  • Blue Origin received $7 million to introduce sub-cooling capabilities at its engine test facility. This development will improve the performance of its booster engines by enabling higher-energy propellants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Strong Ties Between SpaceX and Texas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    SpaceX has developed firm connections with Texas officials. When Texas Governor Greg Abbott established the Texas Space Commission in March, he named SpaceX Starbase General Manager Kathy Leuders to its board. Her term lasts until 2027, cementing SpaceX’s ties to state aerospace efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Texas Space Commission will reconvene in March to consider more applications.
