Tesla gives access to a"Beta"of the FSD autopilot to certain owners
As expected and announced by Elon Musk, Tesla CEO, Tesla has unveiled a "Beta" version of its improved autopilot, also described by the company executive as a deeply changed and rewritten version that will take a quantum leap.
Here is the patch note present on each car after upgrading. We see the passage on the Beta and some additional information.
Tesla has for once allowed testers to post some photos and videos on social media. It turns out that this rewrite is a real breakthrough in Tesla's autopilot software. Indeed this one seems on the first images, to visualize much better its environment and the graphic representation starts to be impressive.
However, we do not yet have all the information concerning the color code used and the meaning of each element. This version appears as a Beta which cannot be used by just anyone. It requires serious monitoring and will allow Tesla to recover a large amount of information faster and more broadly.
