Japan Racing JR37 rims for Tesla Model 3 are manufactured using Flow Forming. This method produces a wheel that is lighter and stronger than a conventional cast wheel, which improves the car's responsiveness, handling, and ride comfort, while maintaining excellent durability for everyday use.

Specifically, the rim flange is heated and then drawn by rollers after casting. The metal becomes denser, allowing material to be removed while maintaining the same strength: the weight reduction amounts to up to 30% compared to a cast aluminum model, with a weight close to that of a high-end forged wheel.

Model 3 Performance 2024+: Differentiated front/rear suspension setup

The Model 3 Performance Highland requires wider rear rims than the front ones, just like the factory configuration (20 x 9 ET34 front / 20 x 10 ET45 rear). The JR37 set Performance exists 19 inches (front 8.5 x 19 ET38 / rear 10 x 19 ET45) such as 20 inches (front: 9 x 20 ET34 / rear: 10 x 20 ET45) — always 2 front rims and 2 rear rims, do not mix and match during installation. The 18-inch version is not compatible with this model (oversized calipers).

These rims are certified JWL and VIA, which ensure the rim's structural strength in accordance with Japanese standards. No TÜV report is currently available for this part number.

Installation: What You Need to Know

The Original nuts Tesla are reusable : No special fasteners are required, which simplifies seasonal tire changes. Allow 30 to 45 minutes for all four wheels using a jack and a torque wrench. Follow the torque specifications listed in your vehicle’s manual and retighten the fasteners after driving the first few kilometers.

Tire installation should be performed by a repair shop equipped with the appropriate machinery, including a balance check after installation. Keep the certification report in the vehicle if required by your country's regulations.
