The Tesla Model Y Juniper is the electric SUV that has topped the sales charts in France and Europe since its launch in early 2025. What’s changed compared to the previous Model Y
The Model Y Juniper features a host of new additions:

- A range of up to 600 km (WLTP ) depending on the version

The 2025 Performance version: 460 hp and a range of 580 km
Tesla has unveiled the Model Y Juniper Performance, which takes the SUV’s sportiness even further: 460 hp, all-wheel drive, 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds, top speed of 250 km/h. The Performance version also features a 16-inch UHD screen, adaptive suspension and special 21-inch tyres that improve both range and acoustic performance.
Thousands of Model Ys stuck in France: why?
In mid-June 2025, thousands of brand-new Tesla Model Y Juniper cars were spotted parked in French car parks, awaiting delivery. This situation is due to temporary logistical issues linked to the volume of orders and shipping delays from the production plants. The situation is gradually resolving itself.
