A Tesla’s paintwork deserves special attention. Its large body panels quickly reveal marks, and its expansive glass surfaces accumulate limescale and grime faster than on a conventional car. Protecting your Tesla properly is above all a matter of method and the right products.

Start with quick protection
Depending on the time available and how often you wash, you don’t always need to bring out the full kit. For effective protection in little time, two products are enough.
Bodywork: GYEON Q²M WetCoat
Q²M WetCoat is applied directly to wet bodywork at the end of a wash. Simply spray it on and rinse: the product forms a hydrophobic layer that repels water and makes subsequent washes easier. Visible results immediately, with no prior polishing.
How to use it:
- Apply after rinsing, while the bodywork is still wet
- Spray section by section
- Rinse with clean water, then dry
Glass: GYEON Q² QuickView
The large glass surfaces on a Tesla are particularly exposed to rain marks and insects. Q² QuickView is used dry, as a spray with a microfibre. It cleans and simultaneously lays down a thin hydrophobic protection on the glass.
Go further with long-lasting protection
For a Tesla driven daily, surface protection is not enough in the long run. Two options, depending on the level of durability you are after.
Q² Wax: the classic protection
Q² Wax is a safe bet for maintaining the shine of your paintwork. Easy to apply and remove, it suits all skill levels. It does not replace a coating, but provides regular protection between treatments.
Application:
- Load onto a foam applicator
- Work in 30 x 30 cm sections
- Let it dry, then remove with a microfibre
Q² CanCoat EVO: the accessible coating
For markedly superior durability, Q² CanCoat EVO is the semi-professional coating in the range. It forms a ceramic protective layer on the paint that resists water, UV rays and light soiling. The one to choose if you want protection that lasts without going through a detailer.
Points to watch:
- Surface must be clean and decontaminated before application
- Work in thin layers, over small areas
- Curing time: at least 12 hours before contact with water
Protect the interior
A Tesla cabin, with its vegan leather seats, alcantara and plastics, calls for targeted care.
Fabrics: GYEON Q² FabricCoat
Q² FabricCoat waterproofs textile surfaces. It treats carpets, trims and fabric seats, making them resistant to liquid stains. The product does not discolour or stiffen the materials.
Application:
- Spray evenly onto dry fabric
- Let it penetrate for a few minutes
- Do not rinse
Vegan leather: GYEON Q²M LeatherCoat
Tesla vegan leather is sensitive to grease stains and friction wear (driver entry points, centre armrest). Q²M LeatherCoat (included in the LeatherSet Mild) cleans and lays down protection in a single step. Use periodically to prevent yellowing.
