Real consumption: 5-8% of battery per night depending on weather — 25-40 km worth. Near a Supercharger or on a campsite socket, Tesla camping becomes literally unlimited.
The bed: the centrepiece
Bench folded, the Model Y offers nearly 2 metres of almost-flat floor — and “almost” makes all the difference at 3 a.m. Two dedicated answers: the fitted inflatable mattress (€84.90) hugging the contours and inflating from the 12 V socket, or the premium folding foam mattress (€239.90), proper-bed comfort that stores in the boot. The community’s favourite European routes: the Atlantic coast along motorway Superchargers, the Alsace wine road, and the gorges of southern France where high-altitude spots offer spectacular wake-ups — battery pre-warmed by the rising sun.
