Choosing Winter Tires
Select your tires using the “Add” option: several options are available in 235/55R18 (Bridgestone Blizzak 6, Hankook i*cept evo3 SUV, Nexen, Tracmax, etc.). Check each tire’s product page for load and speed ratings.
Installation: What You Need to Know
Since the wheels come pre-mounted and balanced, installation simply involves mounting them on the vehicle. Allow about 30 to 45 minutes for all four wheels using a jack and a torque wrench. The original nuts Tesla can be reused, which simplifies seasonal wheel changes. We still recommend having the tires installed at a shop if you do not have lifting equipment suitable for your vehicle’s weight. Follow the torque specifications provided by Tesla in your vehicle’s manual, and retighten the fasteners after the first few kilometers.
