TOWCAR Bike Rack for Tesla, 2-, 3-, or 4-bike version

This TowCar bike rack attaches to the tow ball on your Tesla and carries 2, 3, or 4 bikes depending on the version (TR2, TR3, or TR4). It is compatible with Model 3, Y, S, and X models equipped with a tow hitch, allows access to the trunk even when loaded, and accommodates electric bikes on the TR2 and TR3 versions. Prerequisite: Your Tesla must have a tow hitch.

Distance between guides: 26 cm (TR2), 18 cm (TR3 and TR4). Wheels up to 100 mm, wheelbase up to 110 cm on all three versions.

Safety and Compatible Bikes

Each version comes with locks (for bike racks and bikes), silicone pads to protect the frames, and notched straps for stability. The TR2 and TR4 models also include a fold-down light mount. As for bikes, wheel sizes of 20″, 22″, 26″, 27.5″, and 29″ are supported.

Compatible Tesla models

This bike rack is compatible with all Tesla models equipped with a tow ball: Model 3 (2019–2020, 2021–2023, 2024+ Highland), Model S (2013–2020, 2021+), Model X (2016–2020, 2021+) and Model Y (2021–2024, 2025+ Juniper). It cannot be used without a coupling: this is the only requirement.

Installation and Access to the Trunk

Installation on the tow ball is quick and intuitive. The frame tilts to open the trunk even with the bikes in place. Check that the straps are tight and secure before each trip, and do not exceed the maximum load capacity for the version you have chosen.
