A Discreet Tow Hitch for Your BYD Seal 6

This tow hitch provides your BYD Seal 6 DM-i with a practical transport solution while maintaining the vehicle’s sleek appearance.

Its vertically removable ball joint can be installed and removed without tools. When not in use, it can be removed to ensure a particularly discreet fit under the bumper.

Unlike a horizontal system, the mounting mechanism is oriented beneath the vehicle. Once the ball joint is removed, the tow hitch is therefore much less visible.

Compatibility with the BYD Seal 6

This tow hitch is compatible with both body styles of the BYD Seal 6 DM-i:

• BYD Seal 6 DM-i Sedan
• BYD Seal 6 DM-i Touring / Station Wagon

Tool-free, vertically removable ball joint

The ball joint mounts vertically beneath the bumper. Its mechanism allows for quick installation or removal without the need for a special tool.

Installation without cutting the bumper

This hitch is designed to be installed on the BYD Seal 6 without requiring any cuts to the bumper.

However, installation does require the removal of certain components located at the rear of the vehicle in order to properly secure the crossbar to the designated mounting points.

To ensure the safety of the installation and the proper functioning of the equipment, we recommend having the installation performed by a qualified professional.

Tow Hitch with 13-Pin Wiring Harness

The tow hitch is available with a Nexus 13-pin wiring harness.

The wiring harness provides the electrical functions required when using a trailer, a bike rack equipped with lights, or another accessory mounted on the tow ball.

The wiring harness must be configured and connected during installation.

• the total weight of the bike rack and the bikes being transported;
• whether the accessory is compatible with a standard tow ball.
