Novitec Carbon Side Skirts for the Tesla Model Y
The Novitec carbon fiber side skirts for the Tesla Model Y adorn the lower body panels and visually lower the SUV’s silhouette. They are designed for the Tesla Model Y 2021–2024 and connect the front and rear of the vehicle in a cohesive carbon fiber ensemble. Designed by Novitec, a German specialist in automotive refinement (Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati), they enhance the vehicle’s sporty character without compromising its original lines.
Why add Novitec carbon side skirts?
- Low-slung profile: The side skirts visually lower the car and streamline its silhouette.
- Novitec exposed carbon fiber: visible weave, lightweight and rigid material.
- Aesthetic continuity: They bridge the gap between the front splitter and the rear diffuser.
- Complete left and right set: both sides of the vehicle are treated symmetrically.
- Recognizable signature: Novitec, a tuning specialist for Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Maserati, now available at Tesla.
Carbon Fiber Material and Finish
This part number includes a pair of bare carbon fiber side skirts designed for the lower body panels beneath the doors. The carbon weave remains visible, in keeping with the “naked carbon” aesthetic of the Novitec line. Part number T6 X00 71 is available for the 2021–2024 Tesla Model Y , under the Novitec brand.
Design and Integration on the Side Skirts
The side skirts follow the contours of the original side panels and extend their lower sections. They visually elongate the profile, accentuate the vehicle’s low stance, and create a clean transition between the front and rear ends, resulting in a seamless look along the entire length of the vehicle.
Installation: What to Expect
The side skirts are installed along the lower body panels, on a clean, degreased surface, on both the left and right sides. Since fitting such a long component requires precision to ensure a clean, symmetrical finish, this task may be entrusted to a certified installer. Be sure to check the alignment and fit after installation.
