Novitec® Carbon Rear Diffuser for Tesla Model Y
The Novitec carbon fiber rear diffuser for the Tesla Model Y redesigns the lower portion of the bumper by replacing the original plastic part with bare carbon fiber. It is designed for the Tesla Model Y 2021–2024 model year and replaces the original diffuser without any added or glued components. Designed by Novitec, a German tuning company specializing in Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Maserati, it is part of the carbon fiber line dedicated to the Model Y.
Why switch to the Novitec carbon diffuser?
- A more assertive rear end: the diffuser enhances the lower body and replaces the plastic part with carbon fiber.
- Novitec exposed carbon fiber: visible weave, lightweight and durable material.
- Replacement part: Replaces the stock diffuser without any additional parts glued to the body.
- Consistent styling: complements the Novitec front splitter, side skirts, and trunk spoiler.
- Recognized expertise: Novitec, a specialist in automotive refinement, now offers its products for the Tesla.
Material, Finish, and Integration
This part is a bare carbon fiber rear diffuser installed in the lower section of the bumper. The carbon weave remains visible, in keeping with the “naked carbon” aesthetic of the Novitec lineup. Unlike an adhesive-mounted accessory, it replaces the stock plastic diffuser. Listed as T6 X00 72, it is available for the 2021–2024 Tesla Model Y , under the Novitec brand.
Installation: Replacing the Original Diffuser
Installation involves removing the original plastic diffuser and then installing the carbon fiber part in its place. Since this procedure involves a structural component of the bumper, it should be performed by a certified installer to ensure a proper fit. Be sure to check the alignment and fastenings after installation.
