As standard, the Tesla Model 3 comes with 18" aero wheels consisting of a charcoal gray aluminum rim covered with an aerodynamic hubcap. While these hubcaps optimize efficiency, their design is not to everyone's taste.
With these Arachnid Plaid 18" wheel trims, you can :

This new version of the Arachnid Plaid 18-inch hubcaps has been developed to be more robust than previous generations. The mounting lugs have been reworked to better withstand repeated mounting and dismounting.

Materials and fixings: metal and plastic fasteners
Hubcaps are made of metal and plastic, to offer a good compromise between rigidity, lightness and rim protection. Fasteners are made of plastic, to reduce the risk of scratching the aluminum rim during installation and removal.
In practical terms, this means:
- A solid structure to maintain the Arachnid shape and style Plaid.
- Plastic fasteners to better preserve the original rim surface.
- Softer mounting on the aero rim than rigid metal fasteners.
Plastic fasteners are therefore an important element, but they're part of an overall package designed for looks, durability and rim protection.

Install Arachnid hubcaps Plaid on your Tesla Model 3
Installation of this set of 4 Arachnid Plaid 18-inch wheel trims is quick and requires no special tools.
Recommended steps:
- Carefully remove the original aero hubcaps from your Tesla Model 3 .
- Align the new Arachnid hubcap Plaid on the 18" aero rim.
- Press evenly around the rim to clip all fasteners.
The aim is to securely clip the hubcap, without forcing the hubcap into any one area. By proceeding gradually, you protect both the fasteners and the rim.
In the event of breakage during mounting or dismounting, we will cover the cost of replacement, excluding road damage.

Are these hubcaps compatible with all Tesla Model 3 hubcaps?
These Arachnid Plaid 18-inch wheel trims are compatible with Tesla Model 3 produced between 2017 and 2023 fitted with original 18-inch aero rims. They are not suitable for 19", 20" or non-aero rims.
Do hubcaps have an impact on the autonomy of my Tesla Model 3 ?
The hubcaps are mounted on the original 18" aero rims, which are already designed to optimize efficiency. In practice, the impact on range remains very limited, as you retain the aero rim base Tesla.
What happens if a hubcap breaks during assembly or disassembly?
If a hubcap breaks during assembly or disassembly, it can be replaced free of charge for an unlimited period. Simply contact Customer Service and provide a photo of the broken hubcap. Breakages caused by driving (bumps, curbs, accidents) are not covered.
Can I still use the original Tesla hubcaps with this kit?
No, these covers are designed to replace the original aero covers. However, you can keep the original hubcaps and re-install them at a later date, should you wish to return to the factory look.
