The new Model S features a completely redesigned rear suspension, presenting both opportunities and challenges for the aftermarket. Part of the design process at MPP involved fully modeling the rear suspension and analyzing several of its characteristics. With that in mind, we’re introducing our adjustable rear lower control arm and trailing arm kit (Tesla calls this the Lower Aft Link). These arms allow for full camber and bump steer adjustment, easily accessible from underneath the car for fine-tuning.

These camber-adjustable links for the Model S Plaid incorporate everything we’ve learned from motorsports and street car performance over the past 20 years and apply it to the Tesla Model S . We know how important it is for control arms to be easy to adjust, to offer great durability even in harsh climates, and to feature solid bearings rather than rubber bushings for the ultimate connection to the road.

Features:

• Aftermarket control arms are typically made with urethane bushings, which are used because they’re inexpensive—or with spherical rod ends, which are ideal for performance but don’t last very long in sandy or salty environments. Our solution is to use an OEM-spec sealed bearing—delivering the performance of a spherical joint with the durability of an OE part.
• The sealed bearings, similar to those used on our other control arms, ensure that this joint will stand the test of time.
• The arms are CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and anodized blue for durability and aesthetics. The arms are sold in pairs and come with a 3-year warranty.
