Installation
- On screen: Controls > Locks > Keys > Add Key
- Scan the Tesla Key Bracelet on the card reader (behind the cup holders on the center console or on the induction charger).
- Scan a Tesla Key Card to confirm pairing.
- Once paired, you can rename the key using the pencil icon.
Use
Lock / Unlock
- Slide the wristband over the NFC sensor on the B-pillar, below the driver-side camera.
Note: if the vehicle is in Stand by / Sleep mode, it may be necessary to interact with the car first (e.g. touch the handle) before unlocking via the wristband.
Start and drive
- Scan the wristband on the reader (center console or induction charger).
- Press the brake pedal within 2 minutes.
After 2 minutes without applying the brake, you'll need to scan the wristband again to start the vehicle.
