Installing Tesla Key Bracelet

The Tesla Key Bracelet is registered in the same way as a key card Tesladirectly from the vehicle's central display.

  1. Open the menu: Controls > Locks > Keys > Add Key.
  2. Scan the Tesla Key Bracelet on the card reader (behind the center console cup holders or on the induction charger, depending on your model).
  3. When prompted, scan a Tesla Key Card to confirm pairing.
  4. Rename the key using the pencil icon for easy identification (e.g. "Bracelet conducteur").

Once this step has been completed, the bracelet appears in your list of keys, alongside your cards and smartphone.

Use: lock, unlock and start

The Tesla Key Bracelet lets you use your vehicle as you would a conventional key card .

Locking / unlocking the car Tesla

  • To unlock or lock the car, slide the bracelet over the NFC sensor on the B-pillar on the driver's side, just below the camera.
  • If the car is in Sleep / Stand by mode, it may be necessary to first touch the handle or interact with the car to "wake it up" before presenting the wristband.

Start and drive

  • Place the bracelet on the card reader (center console or induction charger area, depending on model).
  • Press the brake pedal within 2 minutes of reading.
  • After 2 minutes without action, you'll need to rescan the wristband to authorize starting again.
