Front snow chains Polaire for Volvo EX40
These Polaire Grip One front snow chains are suitable for the Volvo EX40 equipped with 20" wheels, and more generally for electric SUVs with reduced wheel arches. They are mounted only on the outside of the tire, with no components behind the wheel, to limit the risk to sensors, shock absorbers and wiring harnesses.
The polyurethane tread and 9 mm steel links provide good traction on snow and ice, while preserving large-diameter rims.
The integrated automatic tensioning and centering system ensures progressive adjustment from the very first meters, after initial adjustment when stationary. EN 16662-1 approved, these chains comply with the requirements of the French mountain law in areas where approved winter equipment is mandatory.

Installation

Many retailers simply recommend their products by tire size alone (e.g. 235/45R18), without checking the vehicle's configuration. Yet two cars fitted with identical tires can have very different stresses
