Keep your Tesla Model 3 cool, even in direct sunlight
The Tesla Model 3windshield sunshadeis the ideal accessory for keeping your car’s interior cool, even when the sun is beating down. The windshield is the area that lets in the most heat: by covering it with a custom-fit sunshade, you limit the heating of the cabin, protect the dashboard, the center screen, and the front windows from the sun’s rays, while improving everyday comfort inside the vehicle.
This sunshade is designed for all Tesla Model 3 drivers who regularly park outdoors—at work, at home, or while traveling. It helps maintain a more comfortable interior temperature and preserves the quality of the materials over time. It’s a simple, effective product that quickly pays for itself when you compare its price to the benefits it provides in terms of protection and comfort.
Custom-fit sunshade for your Tesla Model 3
Unlike a universal model, this sunshade is specifically cut to fit the windshield of the various versions of the Tesla Model 3 :
- Model 3 Standard
- Model 3 Long Range
- Model 3 Performance
- Tesla Model 3 Highland 2024+
The shape follows the contours of the windshield without letting any light through at the edges. This precision ensures:
- uniform protection against heat and sunlight,
- better thermal insulation,
- more stable hold, even when the frontwindows are heavily exposed.
Whether or not your vehicle is equipped with a tinted glass roof, this front sunshade reinforces the thermal barrier and perfectly complements the factory-installed protection of the Tesla Model 3 .

Features of the Windshield Sunshade
Installation in Just a Few Steps
The installation is designed to be quick, even if you use the sunshade several times a day:
- Take the sunshade out of its storage bag.
- Unfold it completely in front of the driver’s seat.
- Place it against the windshield, with the gray side facing outward for better heat protection.
- Secure the Velcro strap above the rearview mirror.
- Fold down the driver’s and passenger’s sun visors to hold it securely in place.
Once your Model 3 is parked in the shade or back on the road, simply fold it up again and stow it away. The sunshade folds up easily and takes up very little space.
An essential accessory for protecting the interior of your Tesla Model 3
This sunshade for the Tesla Model 3 is especially useful if:
- you often park in the sun,
- you want to limit the rise in temperature inside the vehicle,
- you want to protect the dashboard, screen, and seats,
- you’re looking for a product designed specifically for your windshield rather than a generic, one-size-fits-all model.
When used in conjunction with other accessories (roof sunshade, rear window protection, floor mat kit, etc.), it helps provide better overall protection for the interior of your Tesla Model 3 . User reviews highlight the increased comfort when getting back into the vehicle and how easy this sunshade is to store.
Why choose this sunshade over a universal model?
Universal sunshades are often too small or too large and don’t cover the windshield properly. As a result:
- unprotected areas,
- less effective heat protection,
- and sometimes a loose fit.
With this custom sunshade for the Tesla Model 3 , you’ll enjoy:
- a precise fit on the windshield,
- better coverage from the sun,
- easier installation,
- a product designed specifically for your vehicle.
It’s the logical choice if you’re looking for a balance between price, protection, quality, and ease of use.
Is this sunshade compatible with all Tesla Model 3 models?
Yes, the product is designed to be compatible with all generations of Tesla Model 3 , including the version at Highland. It is therefore suitable for the majority of Model 3 currently on the road.
Does the sun visor block my view if I stay in the car?
The sunshade is designed for use when the vehicle is parked. When driving, it must be removed so as not to obstruct the view through the windshield. Once folded and stored in its cover, it no longer takes up any space inside the vehicle.
How do I care for this sunshade?
Care is simple: a soft, slightly damp cloth is all you need to remove dust or any smudges. It is recommended that you avoid using harsh cleaning products to preserve the product’s finish and ensure a long service life.
Does the sunshade also protect the roof and rear windows?
This model is designed for the front windshield. For complete protection of the roof and rear windows, you can add other specific accessories (roof sunshade, rear window covers, etc.) to create a complete kit for your Tesla Model 3 .
