Rimpro-Tec System Wheel Protectors - Tesla Model S , X, 3, and Y
The Rimpro-Tec System wheel protection protects the wheels of your Tesla from curb scratches thanks to a two-part system: a base that is glued to the wheel, into which an insert snaps into place. In the event of an impact, simply replace the insert—no need to redo the entire installation. The system fits 18- to 22-inch rims on Model S, X, 3, and Y, as well as other brands.

System and Materials
The system consists of two components: a self-adhesive backing attached to the rim flange and a flexible insert that snaps into place. The entire assembly is made of plastic with adhesive and was developed by Rimpro-Tec (manufactured in New Zealand and the United States). Since the insert is replaceable, the protection can be renewed without removing the backing.
Installation
Installation takes just 20 minutes, with the wheels already in place. Carefully clean and degrease the rim flange (isopropyl alcohol works well), attach the mount using the adhesive, then snap the insert into place. Detailed installation instructions are available for download.
