Model 3 Performance 2024+: a front/rear kit

The Model 3 Performance Highland comes from the factory with rear rims that are wider than the front ones. The JR49 follows this configuration: the set no longer consists of four identical rims but of two front rims and two rear rims, with the separate offsets shown in the table above. Both diameters are available in this configuration.

Keep this in mind when ordering your tires: the front and rear sizes are also different. On the Model 3 Powertrain, Long Range, and Premium, as well as on the Performance 2018–2023: The wheel setup remains the same, with four identical rims.

Certifications and Compliance

These rims are certified JWL and VIA, which guarantee the rim's structural strength in accordance with Japanese standards and serve as a reference for export. No TÜV report is available for the JR49 at this time.

Installation: What to Expect

The set comes with its special fasteners and their centering rings. The original nuts Tesla are not compatible with this model—you must use the ones provided. Allow 30 to 45 minutes for all four wheels using a jack and a torque wrench. Follow the torque specifications listed in your vehicle’s manual and retighten the fasteners after driving the first few kilometers.

Tire installation should be performed by a repair shop equipped with the appropriate machinery, including a balance check after installation. Keep the certification report in the vehicle if required by your country's regulations.

How is it different from the JR50 ?

The two models are similar in design: both are made of cast aluminum and are positioned in the same way. The JR49 features an openwork design with twin arms, while the JR50 has a much more solid face. This is purely an aesthetic choice.

Do we need specific nuts, washers, or spacers ?

The original nuts Tesla are not compatible with this part number: the appropriate fasteners are included in the kit, along with the centering rings which ensure proper centering on the hub. However, no spacers are required for the approved dimensions listed on this sheet.

Are the tires and pressure sensors included ?

No, this set includes only the 4 rims. Tires must be ordered separately using the links above, with the option to have them mounted and balanced at our partner shop.
