Inclined parallel sipes

Continental describes a redesigned configuration of angled parallel sipes, capable of trapping more snow in the tread pattern, based on the principle that nothing grips snow better than snow itself.

Non-V-shaped tread pattern

The manufacturer has abandoned the V-shaped pattern in favor of a stiffer structure: four wide circumferential grooves run between the rows of blocks, complemented by Hydro Grooves for water drainage.

Improvements Over the TS 850 P

Compared to its predecessor, Continental reports a 5% improvement in braking on ice, a 6% improvement in snow handling, a 4% improvement in braking on wet roads, and a 16% increase in tread life.
