The Explorer 300D is a compact power station designed for USB-C and 12 V: 288 Wh of LiFePO4, three USB-C ports (two of them at 140 W), one USB-A port and a 120 W 12 V car socket for a compressor cool box. With no inverter and no fan, it is completely silent and weighs just 2.5 kg. Its 140 W USB-C cable doubles as a carry handle. It has no 230 V outlet: it is the ideal choice if all your devices charge via USB or 12 V.
| What it can power: estimated runtime | |
|---|---|
| Device | Estimated runtime |
| Smartphone (15 Wh) | about 16 charges |
| Laptop (60 W) | about 4 h 05 min |
| 12 V compressor cool box (45 W on average) | about 5 h 25 min |
Estimate: capacity × 0.85 (conversion losses) ÷ device consumption. Actual runtime depends on the device, the temperature and how it is used.
On a Tesla road trip, the Explorer 300D recharges while you drive from the 12 V socket in the console (about 4 h with the car charging cable) and in the evening powers a cool box, lighting, phones and a laptop without touching the car's battery. It has no 230 V outlet: for a coffee maker, a kettle or any mains appliance, step up to the Explorer 500 v2 or the Explorer 1000 v2.

No. It provides USB-C, USB-A and 12 V, but no mains outlet. That is what makes it light and silent.
Yes, a 12 V compressor cool box plugged into the car socket (120 W maximum). With an average consumption of 45 W, expect about 5 hours of operation, longer if the cool box frequently goes into standby.
The SolarSaga 40W Mini, 40W Air and 100W plug into its DC8020 input (100 W maximum). A SolarSaga 100W recharges it in about 3.5 h in full sun.
No: at 288 Wh, it exceeds the 100 Wh limit (and the 160 Wh limit that requires airline approval). For air travel, choose the Explorer 100D.
