New for October 2026, the Explorer 1000 Plus v2 keeps the compact format of a 1 kWh power station (10.8 kg) with the capabilities of a large one: 1,800 W continuous (3,600 W peak), three 230 V outlets, a full recharge in 49 minutes in emergency mode and, above all, the option to add up to 5 expansion batteries (Battery Pack 2000 Plus v2) to reach 11 kWh. Its LiFePO4 battery is rated for 6,000 cycles.
| What it can power: estimated runtime | |
|---|---|
| Device | Estimated runtime |
| Smartphone (15 Wh) | about 58 charges |
| Laptop (60 W) | about 15 h |
| 12 V compressor cool box (45 W on average) | about 19 h |
| Internet router (20 W) | about 44 h |
| Fridge-freezer (0.8 kWh per day) | about 1.1 days |
| Capsule coffee machine (1,300 W, 1 min per coffee) | about 39 coffees |
| 2,000 W kettle (1 litre) | not enough power |
| E-bike (500 Wh battery) | about 1.6 charges |
Estimate: capacity × 0.85 (conversion losses) ÷ device consumption. Actual runtime depends on the device, the temperature and how it is used.
For a Tesla owner who often goes on road trips and also wants backup power at home, this is the best compromise: 10.8 kg to take along in the boot for Camp Mode, and one or more expansion batteries that stay at home for power cuts. While you drive, it recharges from the car's 12 V socket in about 12 h; at your stopover, a mains outlet is all it takes to recharge it in under an hour.

Only the Battery Pack 2000 Plus v2 (2,048 Wh), up to 5 units for 11,264 Wh in total. The older Battery Pack 2000 Plus is not compatible.
The 1000 Plus v2 offers 1,800 W instead of 1,500 W, three 230 V outlets instead of two, 6,000 cycles instead of 4,000, a 10 ms UPS switchover and, above all, the option to add expansion batteries. The 1000 v2 remains slightly cheaper for simple on-the-go use.
Up to 400 W of solar: two SolarSaga 200W recharge it in about 3.8 h. It also accepts the SolarSaga 100 Air and the SolarSaga 100W. Do not mix different models in the same setup.
Yes, with the Jackery DC-DC alternator charger: about 2.6 h according to Jackery, much faster than from a car socket.
