Jackery Explorer 3000 v2: 3 kWh and 3,600 W on wheels

The Explorer 3000 v2 is a high-power station: 3,072 Wh of LiFePO4 and 3,600 W continuous (7,200 W peak), enough for an oven, a hob, a pressure washer or a portable air conditioner. It recharges from the mains in 1.8 h, accepts up to 1,000 W of solar and rolls along on its wheels with a telescopic handle despite its 27 kg. At home, it acts as an uninterruptible power supply (20 ms).

With your Tesla or electric car

With a Tesla, the Explorer 3000 v2 mainly serves as an energy base at home and for long stays in one place. It fits in the main boot (41.6 × 32.5 × 30.5 cm), but at 27 kg it is better suited to occasional trips than to staying in the car. From the 12 V socket, recharging would take about 36 h: recharge it from the mains or in the sun.

Charging

• From the mains: about 1 h 50 min with standard charging. The mains cable is included.
• Solar: up to 1,000 W of panels on 2 × DC8020: about 5 h 30 min with four SolarSaga 200W, 11 h with two in full sun, according to Jackery.
• In the car: about 36 h from the 12 V socket with the car charging cable (sold separately).
• From the alternator: about 5 h 35 min with the Jackery DC-DC alternator charger, for vans and motorhomes with combustion engines.

Frequently asked questions

Can it power an oven or a hob?

Yes, up to 3,600 W continuous on one outlet. A 2,500 W oven running for 45 minutes uses about 1.9 kWh, a little over half the power station's capacity.

Is it expandable?

How many solar panels can I connect?

Up to 1,000 W across its two inputs: four SolarSaga 200W recharge it in about 5.5 h. Beyond two panels, a solar connector is required.

Does it work in cold weather?

It discharges down to -15 °C (power limited to 2,000 W between -15 and -10 °C) and recharges from 0 °C.
