Fitting in 4 steps

1. Work between 18 and 24 °C: too cold and the film is stiffer, too hot and it stretches more.
2. Clean the lens with an alcohol wipe, then let it dry.
3. Centre the film on the lens using the vinyl guide, then press from the centre outwards to avoid bubbles.
4. Remove the guide and wait 24 hours before driving, so the film can bond fully.

Frequently asked questions

Will this film fit my Model Y?
It is made for the Model Y 2025+, which has a camera in the front bumper. The Model Y 2021-2024 has no camera there: on those cars, it can only be used on the rear camera.

Does the film affect the camera?
It is designed not to distort the image. It only covers the lens, not the housing around it.

Can it be fitted over a ceramic-coated lens?
No, PPF does not adhere to a ceramic coating. We advise against fitting it if the lens has been coated.

Why are there 4 films in the pack?
To redo a fitting if needed or replace a marked film. You can also fit one on the rear camera.
