Trunk sill protection in PPF - Tesla Model Y

range of 3M™ Scotchgard™ protective films to protect sensitive areas of your car.

This film, very thin at 150µm (microns) and almost invisible, will allow you to protect the trunk sill of your Tesla Model Y . It is a place very sensitive to scratches and which is very exposed. Your Tesla will be even more beautiful.

This film is made of thermoplastic polyurethane and can resist to high temperature and UV.

Moreover, its installation is very simple because the adhesive will allow you to reposition it during the application.

Each kit includes:

Trunk sill: 1 protective film with a vinyl alignment guide

For each kit a PPF squeegee and spray bottle are included.

Ultrasonic Sensor Variations: Tesla recently announced that all Model 3 and Model Y will no longer be equipped with ultrasonic sensors in favor of its " Tesla Vision" system. To find out if your Tesla is equipped with ultrasonic sensors or not, please see the image below.

If your car has 6 round sensors in the front or rear bumper, please select"Sensors present - Tesla manufactured between 2016 and October 2022".

If your car does not have round sensors anywhere on the front or rear bumper, please choose"Sensors not present - Tesla manufactured from October 2022" as an option.

Content and Methodology:

When you receive your product you will have two bottles, the "Tack" and the "Slip" solution.

The Tack solution is an empty bottle to serve as your water supply, and the Slip solution is a bottle with soap in it (it's not very visible to the eye but it's there).

Before the installation we advise to purify and degrease the area, for that we our Optimus preparator from Alchimy 7 is ideal.
