Model Y Standard Propulsion 2025+: The Switch to 19- or 20-Inch Wheels

The Model Y The Standard Propulsion 2025+ comes standard with 18-inch wheels and 235/55 R18 tires. The JR42 is not available not 18 inches : The wheels are therefore available in 19- or 20-inch sizes, with tires sized appropriately for the new dimensions. Installation: What to Expect

The set comes with its Special hardware: 20 Japan Racing 14 x 1.5 nuts and the wrench. The original nuts Tesla are not compatible with this model—you must use the ones provided. Allow 30 to 45 minutes for all four wheels using a jack and a torque wrench. Follow the torque specifications listed in your vehicle’s manual and retighten the fasteners after driving the first few kilometers.

Tire installation should be performed by a repair shop equipped with the appropriate machinery, including a balance check after installation. Keep the certification report in the vehicle if required by your country's regulations.
