Windshield sun visor - Tesla Model Y

A windshield sunshade helps limit heating of the passenger compartment when a vehicle is parked in direct sunlight. On a Tesla Model Y , it particularly protects the central screen, dashboard and steering wheel, which are highly exposed through the large windscreen. By reducing the interior temperature, it improves comfort when returning to the vehicle, and reduces the immediate need for air conditioning.

To install a sun visor on a Tesla Model Y , simply unfold the product, place it against the inside of the windshield and secure it with the Velcro fastener above the rearview mirror. It is then held in place by the vehicle's original sun visors. This method ensures a secure hold, even when you open the doors or tailgate and air movements are created in the passenger compartment.

This sun visor has been custom-designed for the windscreen of the Tesla Model Y and is suitable for all versions produced from 2022 onwards, including the Juniper facelift. It is not intended for other tesla models (Model 3 Model S or Model X), which have different glass surfaces and dimensions. This sun visor is exclusively intended for use when the vehicle is stationary. It must be removed before driving, so as not to obstruct vision. Once folded and stored, it does not interfere with driving at all, and can remain in the car at all times, to be used whenever necessary.
