SolarSaga 40W Air: 900 grams of bifacial solar power
The SolarSaga 40W Air is Jackery's lightest solar panel: 900 g and 2 cm thick when folded. Its bifacial cells also capture light reflected from the ground onto their rear face, for 25% efficiency. It is made for small power stations such as the Explorer 100D and the Explorer 300D, for hiking, bivouacking or on a balcony.

Which power stations is it compatible with?
With the Explorer 300D (DC8020 input) and the Explorer 100D, with which Jackery offers it as a kit. For a power station with a DC7909 or USB-C input, use the matching adapter.
How does it differ from the SolarSaga 40W Mini?
The 40W Air is lighter (900 g versus 1.2 kg), thinner and bifacial; the 40W Mini has USB outputs on its cable and a USB-C adapter.
Is it rainproof?
It is rated IP68, but should not be left out in heavy rain. The power station itself must always be kept under cover.
