Jackery Accessories and Expansion Batteries

Expansion batteries

Some Jackery power stations accept one or more expansion batteries, which connect at the back and multiply the capacity. This is the solution for a motorhome or home backup power: you start with the power station on its own and add capacity later. An expansion battery is only compatible with certain power stations: check the list on its product page.

Recharging your power station while you drive

• 12 V car charging cable: it plugs into your car's 12 V socket (cigarette lighter). On a Tesla, the 12 V socket delivers around a hundred watts: enough to recharge a power station during a long journey. When the car is parked, it is only powered in Camp Mode.
• DC-DC alternator charger: for vans and motorhomes with combustion engines, it recharges the power station much faster than a cigarette lighter socket, directly from the alternator.

Transport and protection

Jackery carry bags and covers are made to fit each power station range: they protect against knocks and dust in a boot, a frunk or a motorhome storage locker. The right size for your power station is given on each product page.

Frequently asked questions about Jackery accessories

How do I know if an accessory is compatible with my power station?

Each product page lists the compatible power stations. If in doubt, contact us with the exact model of your power station (shown on the underside of the unit) and we will get back to you.

Can old and new expansion batteries be mixed?

No, not always: some expansion batteries are only compatible with a specific generation of power station. Rely on the compatibility list on the product page.
