Tesla Model 3 Highland accessories (2024+): interior, bodywork and wheels

How to spot a Tesla Model 3 Highland (2024+)

The Model 3 Highland is the facelifted Model 3, revealed in September 2023 with European deliveries from October 2023 (electrive); right-hand-drive UK cars followed in early 2024. Our product pages call it the ‘Model 3 2024+’. Look for:

• the front: slimmer headlights and a reshaped bumper (Auto Express);
• the rear: C-shaped tail lights, a new bumper with a diffuser, and TESLA lettering across the bootlid instead of the logo (Auto Express);
• the rear screen: an 8-inch display for rear passengers at the end of the centre console (electrive);
• the ambient lighting strip running across the dashboard;
• the steering wheel: at launch the Highland dropped the stalks, with indicator buttons on the wheel and drive selection on the touchscreen (electrive);
• ventilated front seats as well as heated ones, and new 18- and 19-inch wheels.

Why the Model 3 2024+ needs its own accessories

The facelift reshaped almost the whole cabin: a part made for a 2019–2023 Model 3 will not necessarily fit a Highland.

• Centre console and armrest: a new shape with the rear screen built in; trims and armrest covers are cut to these dimensions.
• Dashboard: wood, carbon or Alcantara inserts and wraps follow the lines of the new dash.
• Steering wheel and controls: with no factory stalks, it takes custom steering wheels and dedicated add-on stalks.
• Instruments: nothing behind the original wheel; a driver display made for the Model 3 2024+ adds one.
• Bodywork and lights: redesigned bumpers and lights call for a Highland-specific body kit, light surrounds and LED modules.
• Wheels: wheel covers and centre caps match the original aero wheels; the Performance, with its staggered fitment, has its own wheels.

Model 3 Highland and Model Y Juniper: shared accessories

The Model Y Juniper 2025+ carries over much of the Model 3 Highland’s cabin, so some accessories are listed for both: console and dashboard trims, steering wheels and steering wheel inserts, armrest covers, side camera covers, phone holders and under-screen storage. The product page lists the compatible versions. Anything to do with bodywork, lights and wheels stays specific to each model. Also drive a Model Y? See our Tesla Model Y accessories.

Tesla Model 3 Highland accessories: frequently asked questions

Will an accessory for a 2019–2023 Model 3 fit a Model 3 Highland?

Not always. The console, dashboard, steering wheel, bodywork, lights and side cameras all changed shape, so you need the 2024+ version. Other accessories, such as some seat covers, are listed for every generation. The ‘Compatibility’ line on the product page is what counts.

How can I tell if my Model 3 is a Highland?

Look at the rear: C-shaped tail lights and TESLA lettering on the bootlid. Inside: the rear screen and the light strip across the dashboard, which older Model 3 cars do not have. Deliveries began in October 2023 in Europe.

Do Model Y Juniper accessories fit my Model 3 Highland?

Yes, if they are listed for both cars, which mostly applies to the cabin. Without that mention on the product page, do not count on it.

Can I get stalks or a display behind the steering wheel back?

Yes. Add-on stalks bring back physical controls (indicators, cruise control, wipers), and a driver display made for the Model 3 2024+ shows speed and range. Neither is designed for earlier Model 3 cars.

Can I restyle my original aero wheels without changing them?

Yes: our wheel covers for the Tesla Model 3 include designs for the Highland’s original 18-inch aero wheels. For a new look or a winter set, see our wheels for the Tesla Model 3.
